Every year, WSJ does a Year in Review package for the Finance section that runs online and in print in early January. For 2025, I pitched a still-life representing the major themes on Wall Street and in the broader economy as our print centerpiece, with vignettes of the specific items for digital use. Studio photographer Elizabeth Coetzee executed my vision beautifully–taking it to the next level with her creative use of lighting and bold color.
