A weekend in Italy
Street photography from Corneliano Bertario, Como, Venice and Bellinzona in Switzerland.
One of my first trips since arriving in London was to Brighton Beach. It was the first time I saw a pebble beach (or such a gloomy beach). I can't wait to see where else I go during my study abroad experience.
A Semester Abroad
For my fall semester I will be studying and living in London. I'm excited to explore Europe and discover new things in this exciting, new environment.
democratic national convention
I was lucky to be a part of Temple University's Temple DNC Bureau, where I reported on the Democratic National Convention for the Idaho Statesman in Boise. Idaho's delegates were really interesting to cover, because they represented a wide variety of issues. Delegates represented Mormon populations in Idaho, the state's LGBT community, educators, entrepreneurs and people of color. Many of the delegates supported Sen. Bernie Sanders, however the super delegates primarily supported Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Pennsylvania's ghost town
For my photojournalism class we each had to go take a weekend road trip to a place we had never been before. I choose to drive to Centralia, a mining town well known for it's underground fire that still burns today. There is practically nothing left of Centralia, aside from three houses and a former, cracked highway- the town's main tourist attraction. Here are some images from my trip:
